秋はフルーツのおいしい季節です。この時期に行きたくなるのが、代官山にある松之助。名前は渋く、本店が京都にあるのもうなずけます。ここ代官山にある松之助のカフェは、大きな窓で囲まれた20席ほどのこじんまりとした落ちつく空間です。

いつもはサワークリームアップルパイをいただくのですが、この日は少し気分を変えてメープルシロップアップルパイをいただきました。甘酸っぱいリンゴにほんのり甘いメープルシロップがとてもうまく合っていました。さらに、アップルパイはオーダーを受けてから温めてくれるようで、ほっこりするような温かさにパイのバターの香りが香っていてとてもおいしかったです。

その他、この日はスコーンが数種類と、ニューヨークチーズケーキやチェリーパイもありました。手作り感満載のパイは本当にどれもおいしくてついつい食べに行きたくなってしまいます。あと松之助は、ふかふかのパンケーキも有名なようです。

私はというと、もちろん1つはお店で紅茶と一緒にいただき、お持ち帰りにいくつかアップルパイを買って帰るのがここに来た時の習慣です。

I went to the cafe, Matsunosuke, the other day.This is one of my favorite cafes in Tokyo. I think this cafe serves the best apple pies I have ever had.  Whenever I go to this cafe, I have one pie with tea in the cafe and buy some apple pies to go. That’s how much I like their pies.

Now that the apple season has come, you can have different type of apple pies there. My favorite apple pie is sour cream apple pie. But this time, I had an apple pie with maple syrup. They warmed it up a little after getting the order. You could smell the butter from the pie crust as well as you could taste the soft texture in your mouth. Surprisingly, the maple syrup didn’t kill the apple taste at all. It was very delicious. Actually, I bought one of their cook books not too long ago. I am looking forward to making a pie using their recipe.

先日、お友達と久しぶりに自由が丘に行ってきました。お昼はバーガー屋さんに入りました。その名も、自由が丘バーガー（http://jiyugaokaburger.com/）です。こちらのお店、建物の4階にある上に、１階に置いてある看板もこじんまりとしているので見逃してしまいそうな感じですが、中に入ってみたらとてもおしゃれな雰囲気です。

今回は、自由が丘バーガーのメニューの中からチーズバーガーのＳセット（\1060-）を頂きました。ランチタイムに行ったので、セットのポテト以外にサラダが付いてきました。有機野菜を使っていたり、国産和牛１００%だったり、こだわりを感じました。プレートが出てくるまで少し時間はかかりましたが、すべてができたてでチーズがとろ～りとしていてとてもおいしかったです。やはり、すべてきちんと手作りとなると、このくらい時間がかかるんですね。待っている間は、友達とおしゃべりタイム。待っている時間は、ほとんど気になりませんでした。

ちなみに、このＳセットのお肉は95ｇと書いてありましたが、意外と食べごたえがありました。この後、デザートを食べにいった私たちにはちょうどいい大きさでした。

I went to a burger shop with my friends in Jiyugaoka the other day. The shop is called Jiyugaoka Burger. They use organic veggies and 100% Japanese beef and they make everything after they get an order. It took a little to get the plate, but everything was very fresh and delicious. We had a fun chat while waiting for it to come. I ordered a cheese burger with fried potatoes(1060yen). Since it was lunch time, we got a bowl of salad. Even though we ordered the small size, the amount was just right since we went to have desserts after this. We had a very cozy and good lunch time there. If you want to have fresh burgers(not burgers from frozen meat), this is one of the good places you should try.
