ここ最近の私のお気に入りブランド、ベラ・ブラッドリーのお店が日本にもやってきました。というか、以前からデパートの一角で売られてはいたのですが・・・。今月初めに玉川高島屋Ｓ．Ｃにオープンしたのに続き、先週２５日には代官山にベラ・ブラッドリーのフラッグショップがオープンしました！

軽井沢のアウトレットにできた店舗も含め、３店舗！うれしい限りです。

ベラ・ブラといえば、シーズンごとに新作が出るので、気に入ったものをその時に手に入れないと、もう手元に入らないなんてことが良くあります。この夏も、目を付けていたバッグがあったのですが、いざ買おう！と思ってお店にいったときにはもう売りきれ・・・（涙）いつまでもあると思うな！ということでしょうか。

ところで、代官山にできたフラッグショップですが、高級感満載です。私が行ったのはオープンから数日たった平日だったので、ちょっとガラーンとしていたこともあり、ほんの少し入りづらかったです（笑　でも、商品はどれもびっくりするような価格ではなくお手頃なので、安心しました。アメリカ本土で買うのとほとんど印象は変わらないかな。これから商品の種類が増えることも期待です！

 

My favorite bag brand, Vera Bradley opened in both Futakotamagawa and Daikanyama this month! A few years ago when I encountered their pretty bags for the first time, I fell in love with their designs. I knew there had been their bags in some department stores here in Japan, but it wasn’t as popular. But if you go to America, you see a lot of people carry Vera Bradley bags.

A few days after they opened the shop in Daikanyama, I went to see it. It looked like a high end shop, but when I went in the store and see the bags, they were not surprisingly expensive. They were all reasonable. Even though Japanese yen is very weak now, I thought they were all affordable compare to other brand bags. But I heard the design director was not happy about the shop in Daikanyama. She thought it was too posh for people to come in easily. In a way, it is true, but I believe Japanese people like some special feeling to each thing. Hopefully, their business will go well and stay here long. And I want everyone to know their cute quilting bags!
